This guide book was written in 1934 by Father Henry Tristram of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri in Birmingham, founded by Cardinal Newman, with reference to the notes of Father Denis Sheil of the same. It hopes to help preserve the tradition of Cardinal Newman, the original Oratory church which he built, and the present church built in his memory.
